Residential safety standards

Values are compared against Malaysia’s National Drinking Water Quality Standard (NDWQS) for treated water where available, with WHO-aligned guidance for EC and salinity.

Residential “safe” in this dashboard means every required parameter (pH, EC, salinity, TDS, ORP) is within the listed range. Always follow official laboratory and utility advice for real drinking-water decisions.

Manual / facilitator entry

Use this on a laptop or kiosk when a student cannot submit from their own device, or to re-enter readings for demonstration.

Facilitator tip Enter the student’s name and readings, then let them make the safety guess before you press submit — the result screen still reveals whether the guess was correct.
